Stewardship is an answer to Jesus’ call to “follow me.” At the heart of stewardship is the belief that everything we have—our talents, time and treasures— and all we accumulate during our lifetime, are gifts on loan to us from a generous and abundant God. Equally important is acknowledging that these gifts have been shared with us for a purpose. That purpose is to fulfill God’s will for the entire world.

Most simply state, "First -Fruits Giving" can be likened to picking the very first ripe, red, juicy, Jersey totato of the season off your vine and offering it at the alter to the God who brought it forth from seed, with praise and thanksgiving for all the harvests of the past and with a sure confidence and faith that before the season is over, your vine will yeild an abundant crop.
