Through these creative projects, we test a mission field, and develop new worshipping groups that can become full fledged congregations in the future

v     La Orilla, Beachwood -  La Orilla is a Latino ministry outreach to groups of Latinos living in the shore areas of Ocean County.  It is based at St. Paul’s, Beachwood.  A unique feature of this ministry is the Winnebago, converted into a mobile chapel that takes the church to the people.

v     Waterfront Community - This is an intentional outreach to the ever-growing high rise apartment community in Jersey City.  The ministry utilizes public spaces for prayer actions, a labyrinth, faith conversations with passers by.  It also gathers people in coffee shops and other locations for “Living the Questions” study groups and Bible study.

v     Elect Saints -  This is a Liberian Pentecostal congregation in Trenton that is returning to its Lutheran roots.  Together with their pastor, they are studying Lutheran theology and practice in preparation for becoming a new congregation of the New Jersey Synod.
