Hunger Task Group
To see hungry neighbors fed wherever they may be, we promote the ELCA Hunger Appeal & its high rate of efficiency, local hunger ministries, and advocacy on behalf of the hungry. We encourage congregations to budget giving to the Hunger Appeal, and share experience of NJ congregations in helping hungry neighbors.

ELCA World Hunger Appeal
The World Hunger Appeal helps hungry people at home and around the world through relief, long-term development, education and advocacy. Trusted partners, such as Lutheran World Relief and the Lutheran World Federation, provide food to refugees of war and famine and help people escape the "silent disaster" of extreme poverty through sustainable development.
