Golf Outing

Dear Friends:

We would like your church/congregation to support the 2015 “Bishops’ Cup” being played at Copper Hill Country Club in Ringoes NJ on Monday, June 22nd (flyer is attached). The Bishops’ Cup is a major Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center (located in Port Murray, NJ) fundraiser. Cross Roads supports youth and families throughout New Jersey by offering generous camperships to those who can’t afford Cross Roads’ modest fees.

The Cross Roads golf committee is asking each church/congregation in the NJ Synod and in The Episcopal Diocese of Newark to consider becoming a tee sponsor. For $250, your congregations’ name will be printed on a tee sign, placed at one of the 18 holes and your church will officially become a Cross Roads’ Partner church/congregation.

100% of the tee sign donation goes to supporting campers attending Cross Roads and enjoying all the benefits of this life-enriching ministry.

Other opportunities to support this fundraising event are for churches/congregations to become gold, silver or bronze sponsors which includes a foursome from your church/congregation as well as other perks.

Individuals in your church/congregation can also support this event or support Cross Roads: 1) send a foursome - great way to spend a day on the links with some fellow camp supporters, 2) become a sponsor – sponsor opportunities are listed on the brochure and 3) help your congregation become a Partner or 4) become a Pathfinder.

Foursomes can sign up for $800 and an individual can sign up to golf for $200.

Hopefully your church/congregation or members can support the camp in one of the many ways listed on the flyer.

Thank you for your prayers and support,

Ray McArdle
