Lay Preaching Program 2025
September - November 2025
Course Expectations
There will be recommended readings for many of the weeks, as well as suggestions for further study. However the readings are not requirements.
The required homework is to prepare a full sermon manuscript for Nov. 15. You will preach that sermon to your breakout group and receive feedback on it. I will be assigning biblical passages for sermon preparation in early October. If you already have a specific date and passage that you plan to preach at your congregation, please let me know by Oct. 1.
